Joining the ranks of The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, You Are a Badass, and F*ck Feelings is this refreshing, BS-free self-empowerment guide that offers an honest, no-nonsense, tough-love approach to help you move past self-imposed limitations.

Are you tired of feeling f*cked up? If you are, Gary John Bishop has the answer. In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf*cked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. "Here's what you've forgotten: You're a f*cking miracle of being." It isn't other people that are standing in your way; it isn't even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It's yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself.

In Unf*ck Yourself, Bishop leads you through a series of seven assertions:

  • I am willing
  • I am wired to win
  • I got this
  • I embrace the uncertainty
  • I am not my thoughts; I am what I do
  • I am relentless
  • I expect nothing and accept everything

Lead the life you were meant to have - Unf*ck Yourself.

Great feeling but could use more concrete action

I think the overall vibe of the book is excellent and has a few really great main points. Personally I would have liked for it to be longer and to have repeated or elaborated more on the core affirmations.

The last "self help book" you'll ever need!

I can't say enough good things about this book! It's is real, gritty and like having a heart to heart with a best friend who is willing to tell you to stop wallowing in your pity pool and get the F*ck on with life!
This book was like a really good slap upside the face! A much needed slap upside the face.
Read it, listen to it and take the advice on board!

His Scottish accent was very distracting

Once You get pass the strong accent the book gets better even though it WAS really short.

This book is life changing.

I am so impressed by this book. The knowledge this man conveys about the human mind is amazing. If one puts this information to use I have no doubt the person will see great accomplishments. This is not your average self help book. I am looking forward to putting these teachings to use. Thank you Gary and Amazon.

Don't Let the Brash Title Fool You.. It's Great

I was a little skeptical at first because I've downloaded and listened to these type of bold or cheeky books before that are written with a bit of an "edge" punctuated with swear words.

First of all, I was pleased that the author does not actually lace his content with a bunch of profanity just to make himself edgy. Although they are in there every once in a while, they are purposeful and effective when they are used (as well as a bit humorous).

I will confess that the author's voice and accent made it so much easier to listen to the entire book. I also found his writing to be very genuine, with a sincere desire to help the reader "unfu*k" him or herself.

The length of the book was perfect, and the ideas were applicable and useful. Gary John Bishop is a perfect example of someone telling you something that you've already heard and likely already know - but he does it in a way that makes you think, "yeah, I need to do that", or "that's what I need to fix".

So even though some of the ideas he shares may be things you've heard many times before from many other people - you'll find that the way he says it, or the way he describes it - just seems to hit you in a different way that it sticks, and has a meaningful impact on you.

Best audible book yet!

Loved this book! I have listened to about 5 audible books so far and this one takes the cake! Great narrator, such passion and meaning behind his words. Real and clear cut, to the point. Only this I could say I didn’t like is that I wish it were longer!! Definitely will listen to it again and have recommended it to friends and family!

Powerful Content

Distinctly different take for a self help book in this genre. It moves away somewhat from the positive - negative perspectives in favor of taking action. I found the book to be excellent and the narration was both enthusiastic and first rate. There is a tendency for self help books to drone on and on with filler material once they have laid their information out - that is not the case with this book. The book is straight forward and succinct so while it is relatively short in duration it is strong in content. Well worth the credit.

Amazing read!

This book changed my life for the better. If you are stuck in your head and have a hard time focusing on the moment and instead you focus on the futures, this book can help you change your perspective. I have been working on this for while so this book will not solely fix that but it is a great added bonus. Best book I’ve read in a long time.
