Definite Unforgiven

So I am falling in Willow Winters. Although this was my first listen from Jae Delane and Patrick Garrett, and found myself enjoying. I look forward to listen more from Jae Delane and Patrick Garrett. They really brought the characters to life.

Steamy

You could feel the chemistry of Mason and Jules through the pages of this book. There were so many twists that you were not sure who to believe and even though I finished reading it, I still have doubt about some people. It was a little too steamy for me, and I didn’t like the excessive F-bombs, but it was a great story. Willow knows how to mess with your mind.

Mason and Julia!

The epic love story of Mason and Jules continues. In order to protect her, Mason needs her to believe that her husband was not who he appeared and the end result was no more than he deserved. He will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe even if that means keeping her captive especially as they do not know for sure who is determined to ensure the secrets of the past remain secrets.

Jules tries to cope with the devastation that her whole life and marriage was a lie and with the knowledge that Mason may not be much better. Will she believe that she is really in danger or will she believe that this is just another lie that Mason is feeding her and in the end will she ever be able to forgive him?

Just when you think you know where the story is going there is another surprise that throws you for a loop and the drama keeps you on the edge of your seat. Although they were brought together under the worst of circumstances they prove how forgiving love can be. I enjoyed the performance by the narrators as they brought out the angst and intrigue of this story.

When you love someone you think nothing can break you apart. Lies have a way of destroying even the best relationships.
Secrets always come to light

I skipped several chapters out of frustration!

I wanted to like this book but the male narrator drove me nuts! And Jules was no better... I liked the story line and wished it was better.
