Unforgivable is an unforgettable series

Unforgivable is an unforgettable series as the sequel continues with the dark, gritty plot of revenge. Sofia resembles the skills of her father, but he displayed more rage and raw intensity in his killings. Still, it doesn't take away from her skillset. The plot kept me gripped and the narrator kept me entertained.

Sophia's Turn for Revenge

What's was not to like about this book? It's a fantastic follow up to book one. Sophia has been put through the most unimaginable things and now it's up to her to avenge her father and finish his path to make those that harmed them pay. She is still just a teen, so she is easily dismissed as a non-threat. That couldn't be more wrong. Her hard life has produced one angry, tough, take no prisoners bad-a*s! There were great fight scenes that showcased just how hellbent she was to get her mission done, no matter who is in her way. She loses herself a bit mentally due to the duress and an herb she takes to thwart nightmare. This gets her in some bad situations, that you don't think she will get out of. Yet, she finds a way. In the end, she gets everything she sought to do. The ending was perfect. I won't spoil it, but I really don't think there could of been a better way for it to go. I listened to the audio and just as in the first book, the narrator was fantastic!

Another must Listen

I am so pleased with this book and enjoyed it as much as the first. The characters that James wrote spring to life through the voice of Bradley Snedeker and I couldn't stop listening.

These two made this book shine and the blood, gore, and revenge was 10x better. The action, the raw fear, everything that went into writing this book by James came to life in a way I never imagined.

I now love audiobooks even more and it is thanks to James Fuller, his books, and his way of finding these incredible narrators.

Bradley, thank you for your magical voice. James, thank you for your amazing writing. You two have written and produced another book I will definitely want to listen to again in the future.

Book two

I enjoyed this story. After listening to the first book, it left me wondering what happens next. Like the first in the series, the book was well written and easy to follow. The story line was original and had enough plot twists to keep the reader guessing.

I look forward to listening to more from this author.

I was given this audiobook in exchange for an honest review

CONTENT WARNING: Use of the word Gypsy and spoilers from the first book.

What would you do if someone killed your father? Sofia decided to take revenge.

Sofia is the daughter of Jamus from the first Unforgivable book. When her dad is murdered, Sofia takes it on herself to avenge his death. Along the way, she meets a group of Gypsy’s who, in exchange for some debt collecting, help her get a special herb that allows Sofia to sleep without dreams.

Sofia suffers from PTSD and needs a special herb to allow her to sleep. She needs her sleep if she's going to gain strength to kill the king of the land, the man responsible for her father’s death.

Unforgivable Part 2 was written very well and had much more memorable characters than the first book. Sofia felt like her father’s daughter and the other side characters felt fleshed out.

The only issue I had with this book (just like the first), was the length. It was even shorter than the first book and the majority of the book took place in the B plot. By the time we made it back to the main plot of the story, it was almost over. This made the A plot feel very rushed.

The main villain, in my opinion, had very little personality, and the one scene that was put in to make him feel evil was 1. Too much and 2. Kind of out of the blue. The rest of the characters were fine but this ended up feeling like less of a victory when Sofia finally got her revenge.

I can recommend Unforgivable Part 2 to anyone who read the first book and enjoyed it, or anyone who needs a quick read and enjoys dark themes. The audio-book is only $3 on Amazon.

EXCELLENT!

Bradley Snedeker is the perfect narrator and author, James Fuller, continues this intense, dark and gritty series with Sofia’s story in Part Two. She and her father, Jamus, only wanted a peaceful life, but that was not to be. Following in her father’s footsteps, she sets out to avenge his death. But vengeance took a toll on her soul and she began to have blackouts. The character development is excellent and the imagery and skilled way the author painted his scenes, and especially the fight scenes, made them come to life. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and highly recommend it.

A fantastic tale!

Unforgivable II follows Sophia’s story after her father is killed, bringing us another fantastic tale of vengeance, justice, and violence.

Sophia, for all her shortcomings, is a very likable character. I was on her side no matter what atrocities she committed, and I rooted for her the entire time.

Desperate for revenge and haunted by disturbing dreams, Sophia has to make a plethora of hard choices soaked with blood and death.

This is another amazing story by James Fuller and I can’t wait for the concluding book in this trilogy!

Quiver Count: 1 Part IV: A Deal With A Gypsy 5:59

“Unforgivable II” picks up just a short time after the first novel ends. Sofia is tortured and wrecked about what happened to her father. Like anybody who faces the injustices of life and karma, she seeks to balance the scales herself.

Sofia is nothing like her late father. Which is the only way a series like this can exist without getting stale. While Jamus was an average man, who bit off more than he could chew, Sofia never had the chance to really have anything resembling a normal existence. She is a killer through and through, and it’s glorious.

There are some other elements to Sofia, that I do not wish to spoil, but suffice it to say that she’s cunning and manipulative; thus, absolutely nothing will get in her way when she wants something. A gal after this reader’s heart (^.-).

Like the first book, the villain is really unredeemable, and our main character meets up with a collection of memorable faces...some of them you’d think would last longer than they do.

What I like most about Mr. Fuller’s writing style, is that he always seems to include a “door #2,” as in: he includes the happy ending that could be, if the character just reached for it. Whether Sofia reached it or not, is up to the reader.

This part of the review is for the audiobook alone: I’m convinced that Bradley Snedeker could read items off the menu at my local ramen shop, and I’d still be riveted. And he can do accents ladies and gentlemen. Talk about a thirst trap, ay?
