Short but very exciting!
Everly is a spy sent to Russia on assignment to connect with an arms dealer. When her contact doesn't show for over a week she plans to head back to the states. However, she is abducted by a Russian to get information on her contact. Torture has never been so sweet. Nobody prepared her for this. This book doesn't take very long, but the story is one I never expected. I thought it was perfect for filling an hour or so.

a good story
Agent Everly Bennett is sent to get involved with the Russian mafia , she is captured and it shocked her but not as much as the kind of treatment that she is dealt to get the information out of her, but what happens when the truth comes out . This is a good short story and it flows well,

wow what a HOT story
This was a great short read for sure! Peter and Everly were a great couple I like how at first you don't know whats going to happen and a crazy twist is thrown into the end. But the chemistry these 2 have are amazing and super HOT. Definitely recommend you get this book if you enjoy the whole spy captured and captor dynamic.

Not great
I didn’t care for this book, I just wanted to read something short and picked it. I listened to it and it was a man reading the book, it was awful. He had a deeper voice and in the very beginning, I thought it was about two men. Then I realized it wasn’t. However I just couldn’t get passed the voice. On top of that the story was not great. The guy did to her what he said he would never do. I just found it weird, didn’t enjoy it.

If you're looking for a quick distraction, this is
Everly Bennet finds her latest assignment very suspicious, but nothing untoward happens until right before she is ready to leave.
The book is a quick, steamy read. However, it is not what I would consider a romance. There is very little emotional connection between the main characters, and no endearments. I was, nevertheless, intrigued by the mystery.
