Mistaken identity got her kidnapped and more!

Coming out of her office building, Skyler is whisked into a black van. She had been mistaken for her cousin, but her salvation was at hand.
Together they work to reak vengence on tha callous criminals that had no regard for life or other people's property.
Yes, it is a crime novel, with religious leanings, so if this would offend you, perhaps a different read would be more suitable.

Christian Contemporary Suspense Romance

This is the problem with contemporary romance. They're outdated so fast. Written in 2017, it might as well be 2010 with technology so quickly changing.
Much of this story focuses on the need to get to the bad guy's computer to locate and transfer money. Here in 2021, everyday people use cell phones. I'm sure bad guys and security systems are way more advanced. But apart from that it was a good suspenseful Christian romance.

A good book with lots of action!

I enjoyed this first book by a new author to me . The storyline was great but I do have issues with how fast everything happened. I think if the author had lengthened this book it could have been great. I don't enjoy when things move in a way that isn't natural and I'm not talking just the romance which a lot of authors do in short stories. I guess I probably shouldn't read or listen to them as I'm always disappointed. I will say that this is a great story if you are looking for something to just take you away from your own life for a couple of hours. I found that sometimes the narrator was reading so fast it felt like she was on a timeline.
I received a free code for this book from Audiobooks Unleashed to listen to on Audible. This review is just my opinion you should make your own.

Lord, please help me get out.

Christian action story with an irritating leading protagonist who makes too many appeals to the Lord to help her as she quickly falls for one of the gang of her kidnappers. He is also a Christian who felt that 'following God's guidance is more freeing than otherwise', and is really working undercover to recover money taken from his family. She wasn't making it easy for him.
No, this one was definitely not for me.

The narration, by Angela Waters, however, was good. She has an attractive, fairly deep voice which is pleasant to hear, and reads with excellent intonation at a fast pace.
