Great story

Loved the story. This narrator is very different from the other one on all the other books in this series. I had a very hard time with his choices for the voices of the characters. On plus side at least I could tell when a different "scene " started.

another fun romantic adventure/thriller

Another in Gerard's fun series of heroic soldiers falling for strong women. Overly dramatic narration.

Kept my Interest

This book has been my 2nd best of the series so far; perfect mix of love story & suspense. And, the narration was great.

Betrayed by Love?

great book. I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to reading more books from this author in the future.

Looove the narration!

This entire series does action, suspense, adventure and romance really well. I especially enjoyed the narration in this one, Shannon Gunn did a great job of bringing every word to life! Also appreciate when words are said in the original language first :D

Worth the wait

The series is finally hitting its stride, as both the characters and the storyline kept me hooked. You really have to appreciate the detailed research the author entirely to for locations, background, and tools - it rea!ly gives an added dimension to the books.

This narrator needs a Valium.

The story was what I expected from Cindy Gerard, pretty good story line with a few things that are eye rolling over the top. But this narrator.....can we say over-acting? I get that they want some life breathed into the story, but this guy is cringe worthy sometimes. Really glad he only did this one book or I wouldn't have made it through the series.

Enjoyable read

I really like the Bodyguard series. This was a good book but probably one of my least favorites! It has a great story line but what bothered me the most was the narrator’s voice for Manny! I laughed so much during the love scenes because I couldn’t get the idea of Puss n boots, saying those lines, out of my head. The voice just didn’t fit Manny’s character. This may be better if you read it and don’t listen to it. That voice over really ruined it for me. He just wasn’t manly (Manny) enough for the strong male lead!

Great story and development of characters

I think the love scenes are over the top otherwise great story. Narrator very expressive
