I love that we get another peek into Josh and Colin's life and we also get David and Nate along for the ride. The narration for this was great usual.

The perfect summer read

I had such an amazing time going to this trip with Josh, Colin, Nate and David. The four of them feel like real people. I love reading books where we follow the same characters and see them grow and enjoy life. It's like catching up with old friends.
In this book they go on a cruise and I felt like I was travelling with them. All the descriptions of the places they visited were so vivid and beautiful. There's a scene with a whale that was absolutely magical. And the scene with the eagles warmed my heart.
I also liked the subplot with Colin helping solve a crime on board. I liked all the discussions that followed and I loved bossy and protective Josh.
This was the perfect summer read, it helped me escape and put a smile on my face. I loved it so much.
The narrator was fantastic. He brought Colin, Josh, Nate and David to life beautifully. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Travel with friends

I feel like I've been on an Alaskan cruise with four of my best friends. We've seen eagles, whales and amazing forests up close and personal, we've walked on a glacier and celebrated Nate and David's fifth wedding anniversary. As always when you travel with friends, they've revealed new and unexpected talents like some amazing moves on the dance floor and some ukulele skills. There were also some scary times as cruises are not immune to crime-some directed at the friends and some at another passenger. As always in a Janice Jarrell book we get some swoon worthy romantic moments between these husbands as well as steamy ones. You'll also be stealing some lines to use with the one you love. Seeing these guys outside their usual haunts in Charlottesville was a real treat. Another treat is getting to hear Walker Williams bring this book to life with his always stunning depth of understanding of all these guys. He gets inside these characters brilliantly.

This book is really good!!

The plot had some twists and was really interesting. The mood is lighthearted and thoughtful. The pace was steady. The characters were both complex and developed. I love Colin and Joshua. The way they are there for one another. David and Nate are a adorable couple.
