Publisher's summary

A steamy and hilarious stand-alone romance from New York Times best-selling author Samantha Towle.

I'm used to being in charge. In and out of the office. So, when my parents go behind my back and hire a co-CEO to help me manage my family's business, let's just say I don't take it too well.

Especially not when the woman they've hired is the one girl who hated my guts in college. She thinks I'm an overprivileged, womanizing man-whore. I think she's an uptight, stuck-up bitch. And now she's here, in my office, telling me how to run my company.

I don't think so.

It doesn't matter that she has legs that go on for days or that I keep imagining bending her over my desk and showing her just how bossy I can be. I've worked my ass off and paid my dues to get to where I am, and she's not taking it from me.

No freaking way.

Morgan Stickford is about to learn the hard way that Wilder Cross is the only boss around here.

Another amazing Joe Arden performance!

I couldn't stop listening to this until the very end. The narration can make or break an audio book even if the story is great. From past experience, I know I can never go wrong with anything narrated by Joe Arden.

This book was great and unexpectedly hilarious at times. I really loved it and would highly recommend it.

4 Hate Love STARS

Enemies to lovers storyline that mostly takes place in the present but also has flashbacks to the past. Wilder has no clue why Morgan hates him so much but as we get glimpses to their college years we see why. I like the bickering they do when they work together because that leads to some smoking hot chemistry. Wilder is pretty much a manwhore even in the present so it took me longer to warm up to him. Also the way he handled the Sierra thing was so annoying! He should have fired her ASAP....he is the boss after all. Overall I enjoyed the book and it would have been a 5 star listen if there were a few more chapters at the end. It was all wrapped up rather quickly.

Narration was perfect!

Awesome!!

This was an awesome story-line and the narrator of course was hot! I wish there were books on his other two friends finding romance.

Wilder and Morgan

A quirky, entertaining, and witty story. Wilder and Morgan embark bumpy journey, the chemistry between them is palpable, and their destination is one of forgiveness and growth. For a while there I was not sure Wilder could redeem himself, he was absolutely cocky, arrogant, and overly confident. Morgan is sweet, a little shy, but independent and full of determination. They are total opposites but somehow, they fit perfectly. I enjoyed this story.
Joe Arden and Muffy Newtown are PERFECTION. I loved listening to them.

Glad I didn’t listen to the reviews on this one

I always check the reviews when I'm about to listen to a book but I don't let it stop me if I'm interested. This book was pretty good, narrator combo was perfect, not much Muffy but Joe is the best! Will check out more by this Author.

Witty and hot

This was a fun listen. Mostly narrated by Joe Arden, which is more than fine by me. There’s banter, hot scenes and a HEA. Playboy finds his match is always a good story line.

Nicely paced enemies to lovers romance.

I love me a story that has two characters on fairly even ground career wise. Morgan and Wilder are pitted against each other as co-CEOs for Wilder’s family company.

Little does he know Morgan had a crush on him back in college and now she’s hot and smart. A combo that he wasn’t prepared for.

Morgan got over Wilder because he wasn’t exactly an angel and didn’t fit his type. You guessed it, she had some body issues because of him and his jerk friends.

But she’s also very very smart and good at what she does. It makes for good business and desire.

Joe Arden is amazing in this. Muffy Newton is great as usual. It’s a little breezy and an easy romance to consume. I really enjoyed it.

Good story

This was good story. I listened in one setting because I couldn’t put it down. The narrators did a good job. I’m glad that joe did most of the reading. Muffy/Erin is not my favorite reader but I can take small dosage. I have one complaint. The author should work harder on making the hero work on getting her back. She forgave him so easily. All in all, I highly recommend

The ending was rushed and could have been so much better! Joe and Muffy did an amazing job narrating!

EXCELLENT

overall a good book well written narration perfect, the only thing that I disagree with is that Morgan is very whiny and as in most romance books they don't seem to make the woman accountable for their actions
