What a way to end the series!
I'm sorry to see it end. The characters became friends and Buster became a real star. The narration by Kevin Pierce is, of course, spot on. They became visual to me. The trials they go through is not out of the realm of possibility in the near future.
This is a series I'll listen to more than just once. If you haven't started the series yet, why not?? If you have got through book 4, GET THIS ON QUICK! I laughed, cried, and all emotions in between.

From beginning end this was a fun to read series full of adventure and thrills.

Grand Finale
So this is the end of this Apocalyptic series, and what a ride!! A grand finale, full of battles, traitors, good old boys, new friends and an old for... American Russians against old country Russians. Patriotism on display in a practical way on both sides. Excellent!!

I want more!!!
This is the last of the series. Have you ever read a book that you just didn't want to finish.....that's this book for me. I loved how Chris Pike combined all the stories into one and finished the books in this last one. Not going spoil it for anyone but this series is great. #tagsgiving #sweepstakes

I've listened and enjoyed all so far
idk that it will ever win great awards but I liked the story, the characters with strong old fashioned values and most especially Uncle Billy

I was so sad that it ended.
Loved the story,the philosophy and the patriotism! I listened to all 5 books. I laughed, I cried, I cheered! I am in east Texas and felt the comradeship. It was very easy to place my self with the patriots and be part of the challenge. I had a great time and admired all the long range rifle language. OBR 7.62 tactical...sounds delicious!

excellent read!!
I loved this whole series. Book 4 was a little slow though it did have enough action and wit to keep me interested. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys these types of books.
