An insiders view of the darker side of start ups

The final book in the Uncommon Stock series, Exit Strategy leaves nothing in the tank. Action packed from the beginning as Mozaik fights to stay afloat and tries to bring down the biggest money laundering schemes in the world.

Jennifer O'Donnell narrates Exit Strategy and is perfect for the role. She narrated the other two novels in this series and getting her back for all three was a great idea. She really became Mara to the point where if I were to read this book instead of listening to it on audio, I would still hear it in her voice. The production quality was perfect and you couldn't ask for a better narrator for this series.

You can definitely tell that Peper has been a part of a few start up's in his day. The inside knowledge and familiarity of start up's with their super high highs and incredibly low low's is evident on every page of all three books in this series. This intimacy with the topic makes each page bleed with realism and authenticity. All three books in this series made me feel like I actually lived through what everyone within its pages lived through.

Exit Strategy is the third book in the Uncommon Stock series, and honestly, it felt like he really finished with a bang. Peper saved a lot of the action for this book. Mara is the perfect main character for these books. She's unique in more ways than one. She's a multi-dimensional character that some authors dream of thinking up.

I do not want to give anything away, but I can tell you this. If you have read the other two books in this series, you HAVE to read this one. It really gives a feeling of closure and ties a lot of the loose ends up.

Overall, Exit Strategy just felt perfect to me. I give a good amount of 5 stars out because if a book can make me feel something, it's at least a 4. If a book can make me forget that there are real-life things going on around me, it's an instant 5. Peper's writing style and familiarity with the topic make this series an incredible one.

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion. The gifting of the book has not swayed my reviews in any way.

A fireworks finale to a great trilogy

Bigger stakes. Bigger thrill. Page turner. These words don't begin to give justice to Eliot Peper's awesome finale. If you read the first two, you will not be able to stop reading this exciting conclusion.
