Young widow Eva Vestal assumes loneliness is God’s permanent plan for her life. She keeps busy by raising her son and co-managing the Inn at Falls Creek with her elderly father, but her heart yearns for more.

Their own little world…
I thought the author did a good job with the storyline, and making sure that the characters were relatable. My only complaint would be, is that because I started with Book #6, I missed some of the back stories that went along with some of the characters. I’m definitely going to have to check out books 1-5 in the series.

Good story
I did enjoy this story but I did not enjoy the narrator in this audiobook. The narrator sounded very stilted and she did not bring the story to life, so it was hard to enjoy the story itself. I will reread the story myself and enjoy it more then.
