Publisher's Summary

When she told me Sons of Anarchy was her favorite show, I knew I was in trouble. When she said I'm what Jax would look like if he didn't die, I knew I was screwed. I was her fantasy man...all grown up. But I'm no pretty boy acting in a show.

This is real life sweetheart. It's ugly. It's raw. Unscripted.

Meat, a.k.a. Roger, spent his life protecting the secrets of his motorcycle club while being a bodyguard to the princess who grew up in its shadow. But when she finds her king and her happy ending, Roger rides alone.

Devon walks into his bar looking for a job. But, one look at the tatted, silver fox and she knows she's found her man.

But Meat wants nothing to do with a girl half his age. He calls her jailbait. She calls him her dream man. Sometimes the best things are unplanned. They are Unscripted.

Authors Note: This is a stand-alone spinoff full-length novel from Duke, the second book of the CREED MC Series.

Another great partnership

This is the second book in the Creed series and the second partnership between amazing Author Jax Hart and the man with the golden voice Narrator Rodney Falcon. Rodney makes listening easy as he gives each character their own voice, such a great book to listen to. It has character crossovers from the previous book Duke. Devon comes to Springdale to find out about her past and to start a new job at the high school after the summer break. While waiting for school to start she meets Roger, the part owner of the Sassy Wench who gives her a job. The attraction between Roger and Devon grows stronger and as much as Roger fights it, the harder he falls. With the surprises and obstacles they face throughout this book, I couldn’t put it down and it gave me a roller coaster of emotions. I would recommend this to all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🔥BETTER AND HOTTER WITH AGE 🔥

IMHO, UNSCRIPTED was better than the first book, DUKE. I really felt a connection with the characters and I liked the fact that Roger was an older man. Not everyone is under 30 years old. His misgivings were acceptable and the romance moved at a believable pace, without the annoying insta-love.

Rodney Falcon did an excellent job with this one. Cannot wait for book three!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

👍🏻👍🏻 TWO THUMBS UP!

Not what I expected

I was intrigued with the older man/younger woman aspect. I was curious with the MC story especially since I didn’t read book 1. I liked the story, but the narration was very distracting.

I don’t mind when it’s just one narrator throughout the whole book, but my preference when it’s told I’m dual POV is to have dual
Narrators. The voice for the main character Roger kept changing depending on when he was thinking something or speaking out loud. I kept losing track of who was talking. His “thinking voice” has the same tone/inflection when he was speaking for the heroine. The POV would sometimes change in the middle of chapters and I felt even more confused.

But, I liked the idea of the story. If I go any further on this series, I’ll probably stay away from the audio so it doesn’t distract me from the plot.

Awesome!

I won this book on Facebook. I have to say it’s sexy as hell! I definitely recommend this book! I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

love is love for Silver Fox

This book is the 2nd in this series. While I do have some issues with older man younger woman, this story was not one. This story shows the more mature level. Jax Hart wrote it beautifully. His words worked and nor awkward reading.
Devon comes to find more about her roots in Springdale. Along the way, she falls in love with Meat aka Rog aka Silver Fox. Like all relationships there is a few issues.
Rodney Falcon does an amazing job on the narrations of this story. A great voice and nailed the characters.
definitely a must read and if you like audible a must listen.

Dialogue between characters needs work

After listening to book one, I couldn’t decide if it was the actual dialogue or the narration that made the dialogue between the characters, seem awkward. After finishing book two, I have come to the conclusion that both elements contribute to the awkwardness. I think JH should speak the conversations, in his book, out loud so he can hear, for himself, how awkward the conversations sound; and then adjust accordingly. In addition, a better narrator, or better still, dual narration could really improve the audio version of his books.
Another couple of things have come to mind, one, this Hero is supposed to be in his upper 50s. Being married to a man in that age group and being acquainted with many women that are married to men in that age group, they can’t usually perform the way they did in their 30s, without medical intervention. Perhaps younger readers/listeners wouldn’t consider this but I was thinking, “yeah right”.
The second thing I think the author should consider, especially in our current times, is safe sex. Yes, the characters have a brief discussion, but I would hope that the use of condoms would be an automatic behavior for men and women of this mature age group; at least I’d hope so. Especially considering the Hero’s past habit of hooking up with bar fly in the parking lot, of the bar. Most romances set in modern times, do write about the practice of safe sex; as I think they should.
I think this author does have potential but, his writing could definitely use some polishing, before I would consider him an accomplished author. To be honest, if these two books hadn’t been part of the Romance package, I would have returned them. However, they were part of the Romance package and they are an Ok listen.

I think I'm in love

I dont read/listen to a lot of MC books but this one grabbed my attention. After reading Duke I had to read about Roger. I love the sassiness of Devon. The struggles with the age difference was written into the story is such a way I needed to now more while listening. Loved every bit of this story and am anxious for more.

Awesome MC read!

I LOVED Rog and Devin's story! Jax Hart never fails to amaze me with his writings. You can feel the emotions of every character he writes and these characters were no exception. Rodney does an amazing job at bringing their voices to life! As always, a job well done to both Jax and Rodney!

UnScripted

I enjoyed the fun story line. Devon was defiantly a sassy character and was sticking to her values. I like that she went along to an extent of him being in charge, but still asserted herself as being able to make her own decisions. I liked that she was not afraid to go after what she wanted, weather it was answers or Roger. Roger was his own unique character. The ex club member biker with a heart of gold. I accidentally listened to this before Duke now I can't wait to listen to it. Rodney Falcon does a nice job with the narration. But some of his characters voices made me loose track of who was talking. I am not a huge fan of his Devon's voice either. I know being a man it is super tough trying to do a woman's voice and do it well. Expecially when you have a such a manley voice. Overall all though he did a nice job.

The "Old" man finds his young love

This is book 2 in the series Creed MC and we continue with Roger aka Meat running the bar that Shanna and Duke owned. Roger has never found his one true love but when Devon rolls into town looking for a summer job he has met his match. There is something about her but he can't quite put his finger on what that is.

Devon was adopted and had loving parents. When she discovers who her birth mother and father were she goes in search of answers. It takes her right into the middle of the members of Creed MC and into Roger's arms. Can she keep her identity a secret or risk it all to tell the truth?

I really enjoyed this book. The story was good and Rodney Falcon did a great job narrating it. I look forward to listening to book 3. I received a free code to listen and give my honest opinion. I recommend this book.

Gray Fox!

Sexy older man wants the hot younger woman. The one thing that got me was 11 inches, OMG. This was such a battle of wills between the Roger and Devon. Roger believe that he doesn't deserved to be happy and Devon afraid of what her parentage will do to her relationship with Roger. I liked this story better than the first one. Can't wait for book 3.

The silver fox

Unscripted returns to Springdale in this second story in the Creed MC Series by Jax Hart and narrated by the express voice of Rodney Falcon.
This is Rodgers story aka Meat, in his hay day he was the enforcer of the club, also the body guard for Shanna Flynn the MC presidents daughter, during and while she grew up. Now he runs the bar Sassy Wench.
Which brings us to Devon St. John, the newest resident to Springdale looking for answers, finding a job at Sassy’s, she also finds more answers than she bargained for, also a love she wasn’t looking for. This book can be listened to as a stand-alone, but I would suggest you listen to Duke first.
