Meh

I could not finish this. The dialog was simplistic. The characters actions unrealistic. The only saving grace was the narrator is fantastic. But it didn’t hold my interest at all.

Too gullible females

I enjoyed the suspense of the story better than the romance. The females fall literally the first day they meet. Where's the chase? Do these females not have any sense of self? Also, no mention of the pool being cleaned after the cat incident, and yet they jumped right in to have sex there. Not cool!

Part way into the series...

I've only gotten a few stories into the series but here's what I think so far....

Accidental Seal - excellent start to the series; sequels get you interested and compel you to continue listening. This story started out a little on the strange side since someone following you thru an airport is just creepy, but it evens out later. It isn't as well-written or researched as say, the Titan Series but not bad. Narrator took some getting used to but he gets better as the series continues. Does great with accents and transitioning to female voices. Not sure Kyle's voice was quite right since it sounded a lot like the older Tom Bergeron later on.

Seal Fallen Legacy - a bit too much with the immature continual sex which detracts a little from the story, although I realize there are those whose only purpose to this genre is listening to the sex scenes. LOL Heroine is a spoiled little rich girl and hero is a poor farm boy from Nebraska....likely pair? Nope. And what happened to the drone??????

To be continued......

SEAL Brotherhood Books 0.5-4

SEAL Brotherhood Books 0.5-4

SEAL Brotherhood Book 0.5
Christy Nelson is traveling to settle her mother's accounts when she bumps into Kyle Landsdowne in the airport. The two don't really meet, but this chance encounter sets up the story for Accidental SEAL. This is a cute little short that gives a little background to the characters.

SEAL Brotherhood Book One
On her first day working as a real estate consultant, Christy Nelson enters the house she is supposed to show to clients later only to find a naked man on the bed in the master bedroom. She almost makes it outside before he grabs her and ties her up in her own pantyhose. When Kyle Lansdowne finally apologizes to her at the office, she knows she will forgive him if he allows her to see him again. Kyle's friend is missing and he knows he must find Armando before something terrible happens, but he doesn't anticipate the lengths Armando's enemies will go to in order to enlist his help. Christy is taken on a whirlwind romance and mystery, but will she be able to handle Kyle and everything he brings into her life?

SEAL Brotherhood Book 1.5
While on a trip to pick up a drone, Calvin Cooper sees a woman that intrigues him. Libby Brownlee is taking a trip to the aquarium to get away from her studies for a bit when she spots a tall handsome man in the crowd. This sets up their story in Fallen SEAL Legacy and gives some of their motivations before the start of the book. If you'd like to know about Coop and Fredo's friendship and a bit of background on Libby's relationship with her professor, this is a must read!

SEAL Brotherhood Book Two
Libby Brownlee has come home to escape her mentor, who attacked her in his office. She wants a break and to recover from the experience. However, when Navy SEAL Calvin "Coop" Cooper shows up on Libby's doorstep to talk to her father, Libby's world is changed forever. Coop has lost his family in a devastating natural disaster and is ordered to speak to the family of a fallen SEAL. When he meets Libby, he is intrigued. However, her father is not happy that the Navy is intruding on his life again. When Libby's cat is killed and her family is terrorized, Coop knows he shouldn't get involved but can't stop himself.

SEAL Brotherhood Book Three
Gina Mancuso is working a case undercover when she meets her mark's brother, Armando Guzman. She cannot help but fall for the suave SEAL, but she knows she cannot let her first case go. Armando cannot believe the beautiful spitfire is actually making the decision to hang out with the gang, but he can't figure out why his instincts are reacting that way. When Gina's past enters the field, Armando knows he must fight for his beautiful conquest or lose her forever. ***If rape is one of your buttons, beware. It doesn't go all the way but the scene is very intense.***

SEAL Brotherhood Book Four
Devon Brandeburg is not looking forward to her second meeting with her best friend's brother. Nick Dunn is not prepared for his sister's passing, but he knows he has to help her while he can. With Sophie's cancer spreading so quickly, she knows she must leave her plant nursery in good hands. Sophie leaves Devon with the task of selling the nursery to a good person who will take care of her plants and Nick with the task of dating Devon at least five times (real dates, not coffee). The two decide to begin while planning a going-out-of-business sale. When they actually enjoy each other's company, they decide that Sophie might know more than they originally expected. However, Nick is somewhat unstable after his tours at a SEAL.

Love the military romances!

Good, but not outstanding. I have written and published romance novels and these were lacking a bit. Still a good buy for the money.

0.5 - 4 books Ultimate Seal Collection

Great read while doing housework, or quilting. stories are predictable, and 1 or 2 not realistic in the least, but easy listening. books had good start, with great development, then just fell short. like they needed to get done.because of this the stories were lacking the steps to being a good read. J.D. Hunt did well with the placed in front of him.
Would I recommend this collection: Yes if you need something to listen to while doing other activities, each story has the build for excellence, but the do let you down in the end. Still I am going on to the next collection with hope that Hamilton figured out how to keep me interested and spellbound.
