Great historical review with fun facts about our countries leaders!

This book had a very helpful and comprehensive review of how we became a country and created our democratic political system. It is a nice refresher of what we fought for in order to have such a beautiful country as we moved from a monarchy to a democracy.

I enjoyed the history review that was then followed by fun facts after each president to give context but also to provide more of a narrative and story instead of simply listing facts.

There is a bit of irony in having a narrator with a strong accent that is commonly paired with someone who wasn’t born and raised here but I enjoyed it and felt that it kept me engaged more as a listener.
