My dear Christopher,
May heaven bestow upon you the mercy that was not granted to you during your time on earth...G. V. Bloome

QUICK NOTE-

In a world where faith and identity clash, one priest's unwavering love leads him to a fate more harrowing than he ever imagined—execution for the very beliefs that should have set him free...

Homosexual Acts Were Illegal and Punishable by Death back in 18th century England.
The primary law was the Buggery Act of 1533, which had been re-enacted and remained in force throughout the entire century. "Buggery" was a capital offense, punishable by hanging. While actual executions for this crime were relatively rare, the threat was very real, and public shaming, imprisonment, and other severe punishments were common, especially when it came to members of the Catholic faith.

SYNOPSIS-

1776. England. Catholic church.
A young deacon is ordained into the priesthood.
However, a profound secret resides within his heart, as he is aware that the path he is pursuing is not his true calling, but rather an escape from his past. With a strong connection to the Bishop, Christopher (the priest) attempts to confess, yet finds himself unable to do so. Subsequently, through a mysterious twist of fate, the priest encounters a young man who seeks the same type of confession.
As these confessions progress, Christopher begins to feel the passion he believed he had lost. He also realizes that his unnatural inclinations would be regarded as a criminal act, punishable by death.
Meanwhile, the Bishop harbors a dark secret of his own, prompting his long-overdue search for his son, born out of wedlock many years ago. As the events in Christopher's personal life escalate towards his execution, the Bishop uncovers the truth, which he now understands is best left hidden.
