Poor Narration & Static Ruin Good Stories

I particularly dislike this narration, it is slow and finely enunciated in a way that I found went badly with Chekhov and there is a light background static. Despite the title, these stories are definitely no darker than the average Chekhov story, and not scary in the slightest. These are good stories, but the narration and hum made them a bit annoying to listen to. Hard to believe, but this one is not worth the 63 cents!
