One of my favorites

The story, the performance and the characters grab you and your heart from the beginning and don't let go. I was excited to get back into my car to listen to this great read. it is my second time reading and now listening. Love Nicholas Sparks

The good and bad

Love the author. I’ve listened to almost all hai books. Great story. Music in background is distracting from the story and really Didn’t enjoy the production.

Lovely, meanspirited, and then caring

One of the best I've read. realistic storyline lovely characters (some) and a storyline that could be my own. I cried several times ... Even while I was listening at the gym!!

Emotional roller coaster

I’ve never experienced so many changing emotions with a book. Anger, joy, sadness.. Nicholas Sparks sure knows how to pull at the heart strings and take you on that wild emotional roller coaster.

Could Have Been Better

Mr Sparks has a gift … he creates warm stories that just carry us along with characters we can connect with … as in this book.

I would have to say that I felt the ending of the book was somewhat flat. Russ never really stood up to the contemptible Vivian and thereby the book lost an emotional punch that could have been included in the story.
