Drama, divorce, and dating. When you’re searching for that perfect match, just how many dates is too many?
Forty and unhappily married, Alix wonders if she'll ever have something beyond her husband and her kids. After returning to college, she strikes up a friendship with Suzi, a happily wed woman who's 10 years younger. Together, they meet for girl's nights to discuss school, scandal, and divorce....
As they talk over the possibility of being single and dating deadbeats, neither woman could have predicted the extraordinary events about to unfold. Thrust back into an awkward world of dinners, dates, and sizzling encounters, Alix and Suzi must rely on each other if they ever want to find their second chance at love.
Two Women...and Too Many Men is an honest, hilarious chick-lit romance. If you like heartfelt dialogue, humorous dating mishaps, and steamy scenarios, then you’ll love Nancy Orchard’s poignant and passionate novel.

Enjoyable
Two Women...and Too Many Men is an enjoyable book about two middle aged friends, Alix and Suzi, getting back into dating after divorce. There are some steamy scenes as these women go out with men to find the right one for them. It does jump around a bit from past to present as we get a glimpse into these women's lives.
Narrator Stevie Zimmerman does a fabulous job. She really brought the characters to life and made to book that more enjoyable.

Loved it!
Alix has finally had enough in her loveless marriage, and its long overdue, so she tells her husband she wants a divorce and soon finds herself a single mother at forty. She goes back to school where she meets her best friend and the two embark on a journey into dating in the modern age.
This book is hilarious, honest, and brave in its telling. The narrator does a wonderful job of making the reader feel like a fly on the wall. I can't recommend this highly enough!

hard pass
Received ARC for an honest review. Umm… this book was not my cup of tea or rather not my cuppa. It felt too scatterbrained, like there was too much going on. I get where N.O. was going with the story but I felt like there were too many ideas thrown together into one book. Like for example, one of my favorite authors Lauren Blakely she writes about casual dating and eventual finding that one person however while there may be dialogue within groups of friends, the book is focused only on the heroine and the hero's POV, then the next book in the series with pick up with the next couple that had a prominent appearance in the previous book. It keeps the readers from being overwhelmed. Another thing is that the book is called Two Women, Too Many Men however one of the ladies stays married for almost half the book. I would've preferred either the book start as they l two divorcees OR two desperately single women over 40 of course. The women were very, submissive and didn't really stand up for themselves that well. Not sure if that's a cultural thing or not… except for when they confronted their husbands. The submissive side came while dating, the eagerness to please or to force themselves to like or live someone so that they aren't alone. I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a rom-com because the jokes fell flat for me. Lastly, no HEA… if there isn't a HEA for everyone, then there definitely should be another book in the works. This book totally missed the mark for be but I appreciate the opportunity to listen.
