Nate Lawrence is a college student with big dreams of becoming an architect, but the pressure of deadlines and expectations weighs heavily on him. When he gets the chance to spend two weeks in Provence, France, through a college exchange program, he seizes the opportunity to escape his routine and explore a world filled with breathtaking architecture and rich history.

In the heart of this picturesque region, Nate meets Julien Moreau, a spirited photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of old buildings. With the wind in their hair and laughter echoing in the air, Nate and Julien zip around Provence on Julien’s vibrant Vespa scooter, discovering charming villages, stunning châteaux, and hidden gems along the way. Each ride ignites a spark between them, revealing feelings that Nate never knew he had.

As their days are filled with adventures and late-night conversations under the stars, Nate wrestles with the growing attraction he feels for Julien. But with only two weeks together, the clock is ticking. Will Nate find the courage to embrace this unexpected love, or will he return to his life in the States, leaving his heart—and his dreams—behind?

Two Weeks in Provence is a delightful tale of self-discovery, love, and the daring journey to live authentically, set against the enchanting backdrop of southern France’s architectural wonders and vibrant landscapes.

This book would better have been called Groundhog Day -- in Provencale, of course. Instead of development, endless repetition. It might have made a passable spoof on an era of French filmmaking, if that were its aim. Alas.
