A DELIGHTFUL, fresh new children's story

I am always looking for new audiobooks for children as read by Alison Larkin because my eight year old daughter LOVES listening to her read her to sleep! So far we have heard Alison Larkin read Peter Pan, The Birthday Dinosaur, The Princess and the Goblin (which was a bit scary) and of course the audiobook she is most famous for, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. We just finished listening to this new one and we loved it! The characters are so charming and the story is freshly told. My daughter loved it and wants to listen to it again. I loved it too! While it IS perfect for children it is also a story adults will enjoy - and without giving anything away as the sub title suggests, it really does give a fresh perspective on how to navigate difficult times!

These Two Termites Deserve Five Stars!

Alison Larkin must have enjoyed giving voice to Woody, Dustie and the other characters in Bonsai Cox’s delightful story. Told from the animals’ point of view, this is a lively tale of courage and compassion, risk and reward, hardship and homecoming that’s also lots of fun.
It’s one of those books for children that engages the adult listener, too. Two Termites on Noah’s Ark is bound to become a classic.

Community and compassion

While listening to the delightful characters I felt part of the tale that mirrors the depth of healing for anyone who has been left, or must leave behind a loved in the process of life’s unfolding. A tender story of mindfully being aware of our impact on others and sensitive to another’s feelings, this story is a treasure .
