Will can't think of anything worse, mainly because he will have to face his fear of hospitals. Life in the seventh grade isn't much easier. The kids are relentless--they bully Will because of his funny looking chin.

When Will and RJ first meet, they DO NOT get along. Then RJ shares his bucket list with Will. Among the things he wants to do: ride a roller coaster; go to a school dance; swim in the ocean. To Will, happiness is hanging out in his room, alone, preferably with the turtles he collects. But as RJ's disease worsens, Will realizes he needs to tackle the bucket list on RJ's behalf before it's too late. It seems like an impossible mission, way outside Will's comfort zone. But as he completes each task with RJ's guidance, Will learns that life is too short to live in a shell.

Great read

Although it took a little bit for me to get into the character and move beyond some expected tropes, the story really blossomed and move deeper than anticipated. Thank you for this full story and range of emotions and experiences. Definitely recommend to middle readers and/or read aloud.

UTTERLY DELIGHTFUL!

Utterly delightful and totally excellent all the way around! This is a fictional story deeply based in the author’s own real experiences as a child growing up. Very beautifully written AND totally awesomely narrated by the author himself! So enjoyable!! I would highly recommend this to…everyone! Check it out…☺️

This story is the most beautiful and heartwarming story I’ve ever read. The characters are likable, the story is entertaining and so well written, and it is overall such a great book. Would recommend to anyone 10 & up.

I Enjoyed this book

I started this book to help my son with a book project. He liked the book and I wanted to read it to see if I could help him out. I was surprised how much I loved it. For it being a kids book I enjoyed it a lot. I would recommend.
