This junior novelization retells the exciting story of Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red - in theaters Spring 2022!

In Turning Red, Mei Lee is a confident, dorky thirteen-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. And as if changes to her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which for a teenager is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda! The feature film is all retold in this junior novelization that’s perfect for girls and boys ages 6 to 9.

I love turning red and so does my twin sister and it’s a very passionate story about a girl who just wants to be a perfect daughter but then turns into a red panda and then gets connected to it and then she stands up to her mom!!!❤️

The main thing that makes me not really like this book is the narrator, The twisted tales books really do this part well but I honestly think the narrators and the books that are straight off of the movie don't really do this well. They don't really provide much expression into it and make it feel blank.

It's just like the movie but not in a good way
