But as their connection grows stronger, Flick's position as High Inquisitor becomes increasingly perilous, especially when his daughter falls gravely ill and only a prayer from Anca's god can save her.

Unbeknownst to Flick, his daughter's miraculous healing sets in motion a chain of events that will ultimately force him to confront the truth about his beliefs and the world he thought he knew. As Flick is torn between his loyalty to Solaris, the god he has always served, and the forbidden truth that Anca represents, he must make a decision that could potentially destroy him.
