Explicit. Controversial. Moving. A modern celebration of life, a tragedy and a landmark work for Dutch literature. Read by the famous author himself, this is work embodies the Netherlands from the late 20th century - and that for which the country has gained international name: a progressive people.

Happy to have found this but not a great recording

I was thrilled to find this book in Dutch and read by the author himself. Unfortunately there are several glitches in the recording, charter nine is missing and the end of chapter 16 is inaudible due to glitches. Still I enjoyed listening to it.
