Publisher's Summary

A daring pilot finds himself in danger of losing his heart.

Coast Guard pilot Nick Armstrong savors the taste of danger. But after his helicopter crashes into the ocean during a mission, shattering his knee, he encounters a whole different type of thrill when he meets his new physical therapist. Maybe being grounded isn't so bad after all.

Smart, sexy, and deeply guarded, Chloe Reynolds is the type of woman who drives Nick crazy for all the right reasons. But as she tries to help him heal, Chloe struggles to keep her heart - and secrets - safe.

For years, she has been told that Nick is responsible for her brother's death, a "fact" that she slowly learns may not contain the entire truth.

But can Chloe's growing feelings for Nick, and their undeniable chemistry, really overcome a years-long family feud? Or will the past ultimately destroy the future they both desperately want?

Turbulent Waters

This is the third installment in this series and about Nick Armstrong, a Coast Guard rescue pilot who on his last mission was ended with a crash and losing his crew to the cold waters of the Bering Sea. Now he is back home with injuries and Chloe Reynolds is hired as a physical therapist to help him heal. She has secrets though and an agenda but once she gets to know Nick she knows what she has been told cannot be true. This was another great addition to this series and these two were made for each other and needed each other to help heal both their souls.

Hated the ending

While was still a HEA the fault didn’t rest on Nick and hated how everyone thought wise. I saw no reason for him to apologize - that should have been Chloe. Otherwise it was a great storyline.

Recommended

Another good addition to the Billionaire Aviators series. It does stand on its own but is enhanced when read in series order. I liked the characters especially Dakota, a side character. The were a few rather melodramatic moments especially toward the end that were annoying and the ending came really fast. Overall worth the listen or read.

good addition

i loved the story mostly. i did not like how pushy the H was about sex with the h. she had legitimate reasons to not want to sleep with a patient.

there was no rape though, he always stopped when she said no, even though he pushed too far imo.

Great, but.....

Great book, but the narrator sounds a bit robotish at times. Which made it hard to listen in those moments.

Where to begin, not worth the time or credit!

Terri Clark Linden, I've listened to worse readers, but not by much. In the first book, everyone sounded the same. The men sounded like women and the women sounded the same. This second installment is no different.
Melody Anne, first in series wasn't too bad, was good enough to tolerate the reader, but this second one...
Editors needed to make this a novella. Internal dialog, EXCESSIVE AND REPETITIVE. I approximately listened to a full 10 chapters. I would skip to the important ones and understood the entire story.
The main characters. Nick was an as#%@&le, Chloe a spineless whiner.
I'm getting my money/credit back on this one and will not continue the series.

Nice-ish book

Been looking forward to this book for a what seems like a long time, but god damn, why all this rambling, same thing with the previous books. Just get to the point. The female character just kept on talking and talking and talking. Like 2 chapters of rambling. The other parts of the book were good, that's why I gave it three stars.

WILL NICK BE SAFE

Here we're seeing Nick's Story & this one is completely different than what both Cooper's and Mav's were. As Nick is Coast Guard helicopter pilot & we see from the off start that on a rescue the seas are in extreme high seas & the weather is the worse scenario any rescue team can find themselves in. And it's after this time he needs a physio therapist & this is where Chloe Reynolds steps in, but she goes in under false pretence.
So in Nick's story we see both light heartedness areas. And the very hot tension between these hot sexual patient & nurse.
But where Nick feels like he can trust Chloe. Chloe has been keeping her massive misconstrued persona.
A real good conflicting of emotions
