Getting over Hawke is the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

I couldn't breathe, sleep, or eat. Every day was more agonizing than the one that followed. But somehow, after two years of suffering, I finally got back on my feet.

And I moved on.

Now I'm living in the city and running my own bakery. Life is good again. I'm surrounded by good friends that I love, and every day is even better than the last.

Until everything changes.

Now I have to face him after two years of silence. I have to look him in the eye and act like he has no effect on me. I have to hold my head high and pretend he didn't shatter me into a million pieces.

I have to act like he doesn't mean a damn thing to me.

I loved this story! The editing is awful tho. Many lines are repeated and it breaks up the story line. I understand that you can narrate a story without stops, starts and do overs but this is the first audio book that I've read where there are so many of them. I feel badly for EL Todd. I suggest the editing be redone or even done the first time and it be reissued. I hope Wednesday isn't the same way. Overall I really liked the book just the editing sucked! To bad such a disappointment even tho I gave it 5 stars. Mistakes can be fixed.

Worst editing EVER!

I enjoyed the story but the awkward pauses, repeating lines, and fast female narration drove me crazy!

Once again where is the editing?

Just like the first book there were a ton of double sentences that needed editing!

I had hoped the first audible book was a fluke with all those issues but no, this one was the same.

I won't be purchasing the next book!!

Repeating over and over

not quite sure what was wrong. repeated constantly ..long pauses. never had this happen before

Great story

Awesome author. Story line I can relate too. Maybe just love the title alone lol
