Donny and Bree are living the good life. He runs a very successful business. She's a happy stay-at-home mom. They own a beautiful house in a safe neighborhood and are still very much in love. With a precious toddler son and twin baby girls on the way, surely their life can't get any better than this. Then the housing market crashes and the economy starts to flounder. Gas prices are on the rise and nobody is buying anything. The income that sustains their happy little family dries up and Donny has to lay people off. After one last failed attempt to sell the business, he dreads telling his wife the truth. They are going to lose everything. He did what he could to keep their dying business afloat, but it wasn't enough. On his way home from the airport he is preparing to give his very pregnant wife the bad news, but is struck by a distracted driver, and their perfect world is instantly shattered.
