Publisher's Summary

Real estate titan, best-selling author, and TV impresario Donald J. Trump reveals the secrets of his success. Over the years, everyone has urged Trump to write on this subject, but it wasn't until NBC and executive producer Mark Burnett asked him to star in The Apprentice that he realized just how hungry people are to learn how great personal wealth is created and first-class businesses are run.

In Trump: How To Get Rich, Trump tells all, about the lessons learned from The Apprentice, his real estate empire, his position as head of the 20,000-member Trump Organization, and his most important role, as a father who has successfully taught his children the value of money and hard work.

With his characteristic brass and smarts, Trump offers insights on how to:

  • Invest wisely
  • Impress the boss and get a raise
  • Manage a business efficiently
  • Hire, motivate, and fire employees
  • Negotiate anything
  • Maintain the quality of your brand
  • Think big and live large

Plus, The Donald tells all on the art of the hair!

Annoying narration, and no real details

I immediatly downloaded this title as I am always looking for ideas and stratigies to use in my business. Unfortunatly, this audio book is long on end results and short on the details on how to achieve them. For example, on how to give a good speech the author states in conclusory fasion "be prepared" as one of the steps without any techniques or tools for getting prepared. Most of the book is like that. When a specific example is sited, it is usually in a realm so unlike any that the listeners will likely encounter that the point is all but lost. The advice may be sound, but none of it is new and most of it is trite. Perhaps this may be subjective, but the narrator's inflections are so artificial and annoying that it take an entire CD to tolerate them. If the autohor narrated this CD, despite the lack of usable content, it would at least a pleasure to listen to. One has to wonder how someone who is dispensing business advice would allow the book to be narrated this "awfully" to the point making this listener barely able to listen.

    More about Trumps accomplishments

An "okay" book. Interesting to hear Trump's take on things but not really a book about How to Get Rich. More like, I'm Trump and here is what I like to do.

    Waste of time

This book was not about how to get rich, but was rather a forum for Trump to attempt settling old scores. Disappointing and mostly a waste of time.

    nearly excellent

The content was very good in the first part of the book. The second half of the book is mostly about the drive and time commitment for success. Trump works about 12 hours each day including weekends. Do you have the stamina? I am now working on mine.

Invest Wisely -- In A Different Book

This seemed more like a tabloid version of a business book. If you want to get rich, save your money. At least you'd be a few bucks richer.

    Overall good!

Donald J Trump's How to get rich Audiobook is over all a good listen, it's worth the time for people who want to understand more of the way Donald J Trump does business. Lots of great messages and advice to grasp from all the information provided in this audio, although he does speak a lot about his personal life.

    Not the best Trump Book

Decided to pick this up after The Art Of The Deal. Not as good though.
