Truly’s Biker is book 2 in the Royal B* MC: Reno. It is an age gap romance. The main characters are Will/Roch, 33 or 34 I think, and Truly, 19. I think their relationship was well written and believable. I really enjoyed this book. I loved all the dogs and I think that Roch was a great character. I struggled with some naïve decisions that Truly made and wanted to strangle her at times for not being smarter, but I also really liked her. This book is told in dual POV for the main characters. Both narrators did a great job. I’m bummed that the next books in the series haven’t hit audible yet because I am anxious to find out what happens next and see more of the characters that I have gotten to know in the past two books.

Why such weak women!

II hate that these books have such weak women. Good lord we’re not all stupid and oblivious like these female main characters! Ugh!

Last in this series for me

I enjoyed the first book in the series so
I was looking forward to the follow up. For me the story fell short, felt predictable and lacked much spice. Will being practically mute made him seem unintelligent, and while I don’t mind an age gap and the family friend story, how old she was when they first met gave me an ick I couldn’t get past. I’ve heard so many people rav about this series, and I do see what they may have liked. It just wasn’t for me.

Pure torture

While I waited for it to turn a corner, it never came.
I get that Will had PTSD, for being an enforcer, his lack of ability to communicate was frustrating.
And Truly and her immaturity was like nails on a chalkboard, not to mention the annoying narrator.

Could have been a great story but it just fell short. Very short.

great story. fantastic narrators. it was good to get inside Roch's head. and it was more than one or two words at a time. I don't think there would have been anyone else who could understand him the way he is. She says enough for the both of them.

I hope there's many books to come! So I do hope I could listen for more and more.

age gap romance

Truly has known Will ever since she was young. He made a promise to his best friend to deliver a letter to his family. He bonded with them over a small dog.
He considered himself their protector since her husband was killed in the war.
He's a big biker, with a gentle soul.
Truly has always looked up to him, eventually as she grew she also fell in love with him. She knew the dangers of being with him and his bikers.
I enjoyed lIstening to this story narrated by Kit Swann and Tyler Darby. They brought the intensity to the story and each character. Very well dkne.
I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

Roch and Truly

This is the second book in the RBMC: Reno, NV series. Roch carries around so much guilt for not being able to save Truly's father while they were deployed. When he delivers a letter to his friends family, 5 year old Truly takes an instantly liking to the broody man. Eleven years later, that crush turns to love. You will go on a wild ride as Truly and Roch give into their feelings. Will the MC's enemy keep Truly and Roch from a HEA.

I am so addicted to this series, what you say, this is only the second book, but I have all of them and am going through them slowly but surely, and I've listened to both Birdies Biker and this one on audio, just need the others to be recorded.
