Just way too much vulgarity. Waste of time. When a writer fills the pages with useless vulgarity tells me they can't write.

Better read than the movie

The second movie didn’t do this book justice. Way better read. The movie was mediocre at least. Hopefully the third installment is better.

the narration 😒

I enjoyed the story but I absolutely hate how Cary Hite makes the women sound so hoodratish. He does a bad narration of the men too in my opinion but I'm already so invested in the story that I might as well listen to the rest of the series. Moving on to the last book

I had to write this review

I normally don’t write reviews, I listen to the books like or dislike them in private, then I move on to my next listen. This book however is so terrible I had to this time. This is one of the worst book series I have listened to. But! It’s so bad it’s good 😒 once I start something I have to finish it so here we are 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m stuck listening to a book I absolutely hate but I’m already committed 🤣 I have to see how things play out. It is entertaining in a cheesy way, book was written and published in the early 90s and it shows. Respect to Teri Woods for accomplishing this, not knocking her I read her back story and was honestly impressed that she had so much drive to get her work out after being rejected so much. But from the way this book was written, her self publishing was the only way this shit was gonna get heard or read. There is not one likeable character in this series for me. The main character Gena, pardon my French, is theeee DUMBEST BITCH alive and she’s pissing me off. These characters have no depth, dam near all the women in this story are gold digging whores, and the men characters are just as dumb and whoreish. And she actually had the audacity to write 3 of these dam books. 😩 and i actually have the audacity to listen to them lol 🤦🏽‍♀️. So if like me you don’t mind getting irritated every other chapter and if you enjoy listening to books you can make fun of the entire listen then this one is definitely for you.
