Publisher's summary

We've been taught that awakening is difficult, teaches Adyashanti, and that to wake up from the illusion of separation takes years. But all it really takes is a willingness to look into the depths of our experience here and now. In this refreshing "non-meditation" session, Adyashanti invites you to let go of all techniques, even the concept of yourself as a meditator, and just let everything be as it is.

Sounds True Practices are short downloadable audio sessions selected from our most popular courses. Affordably priced and ideal for beginners, they're a powerful way to use energy healing, guided imagery, meditation, and other proven practices at home or on the go. Put them on your smartphone, MP3 player, tablet device, or computer...and start experiencing their benefits today.

This session is excerpted from Adyashanti's True Meditation, available as a three-CD audio or in book-and-CD format.

Perfect title

It’s really just true to the title as it being true meditation. No trying, just continuous relaxation and letting go of “the tryer” and effort to reveal our more true state of being.
It’s perfect amount of time which to me is 30 mins for a guided meditation.
Adya is the man. Always enjoyed him.

just right

Just the right length and level of engagement from the guide. I prefer silent sitting to guided meditations but I know when I'm too restless and need a little help, this will definitely be a go-to. I also like his other book of guided meditations that get progressively more sophisticated, but if there is one to get it would be this one.

This is real guide to real meditation.

Delicately handled through true personal understanding, Adya gets precisely why the identification with the self hinders meditation process and leads you past the self and past the mind. This shows you what you are loong for is already and always present.

Excellent meditation

This is well worth listening to over and over. It's real meditation, not gimmicks. It encourages genuine connection with who you are.
