On May 16th, 2003, someone activated the alarm inside the Blue Ridge Savings Bank in Greer, South Carolina. The police arrived minutes later at an eerie scene. In a back utility room, they found three people dead from gunshot wounds. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murders committed at the Blue Ridge Savings bank. This bank was unusual because it was housed inside a trailer. It was close to a highway which police say made it a prime target for a robbery. But why did the bank teller on duty that day and two customers lose their lives? Did one or more of the individuals know the identity of the bank robber? On the surface, there was nothing remarkable about Larry Lavin. He lived in a quiet neighborhood with his wife and family, drove a Volvo, and practiced dentistry in Philadelphia. But, from 1978 to 1984, Dr. Lavin ran one of the largest cocaine enterprises on the entire eastern seaboard. Through the voices and perspectives of law enforcement, drug runners, friends, business associates and Larry Lavin himself, Wolves Among Us, Season One, The Larry Lavin Story, tells the story of Lavin’s dual life, his impact on Philadelphia culture in the late 70s and early 80s, and the stunning events that led to his capture. Wolves Among Us is a presentation and creation of Peabody-nominated C13Originals, a Cadence13 Studio. You can find Wolves Among Us now on the Audacy App or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

Top 2 for me!

the narratorsare great. They make it interesting, offer opinions, but stay true to the facts known. Entertaining without being annoying or immature like some others out there. well presented. My number one had a retired cop/detective so he can gather and access some info others cannot. Otherwise this would be a tied with #1 for me

Even more of the Mike's...

Big TCATT fan that finished all of the episodes and wanted more. The 2 Mike's make listening enjoyable. I catch myself with my headphones on laughing and noticing everyone looking at me... Team Gibby !!

WTH are you crazy

It absolutely rubs me the wrong way because to me it seems like the powers that be aren't taking Michelle's case seriously I can't imagine losing a child but then to have no one to turn to for help OMG

Fergie and Gibby are great!

I love TCATT. the unsolved does have a almost sad feel to it, which I think can be attributed to the lack of finality. but the research is still great and as always very respectful to the victims.

Excellent podcast, but okay episode.

Best Podcast ever! this episode on the other hand doesn't stand out to me. I am listening through the entire series, unsolved and solved for me third time. I listen to Gibby and Mike because they are like hanging out with my friends and I like the way they think.
