  • Stephanie Lazarus (Ad-free)

    Jan 18 2021
In 1986, Stephanie Lazarus was an LAPD officer who murdered her ex-boyfriend's wife, Sherri Rasmussen. Lazarus was still infatuated with her ex, John Ruetten, and decided to execute the woman she thought was her romantic rival. She used her police training to make the murder look like a robbery. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Sherri Rasmussen committed by Stephanie Lazarus. From the start, police were stuck on the theory that Sherri was killed by one or multiple burglars. Many people have said this caused them to not interview key witnesses or even take a hard look at John's ex-girlfriend. It took cold case investigators, over 20 years later, to put the pieces of the puzzle together. And when they did all signs pointed to Stephanie Lazarus. But, they had to tread carefully to take down one of their own. • William Dean Christensen (Ad-free)

    Jan 11 2021
William Dean Christensen is a serial rapist and serial killer who operated in both the United States and Canada. There is a lot of speculation regarding just how many murders Christensen committed, but estimates go as high as 30. William was caught many times over the years and even spent time in prison for many different offenses. But, each time, it seems as though he was let out after serving very little of his sentence only to commit additional crimes. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the life and crimes of William Dean Christensen. He was active in many states along the west coast of the United States and also up in Canada. William used many different aliases during his murder spree which made it more difficult for authorities to track him. At one point, he was even charged and convicted of murder under an assumed name. This is a man with no regard for human life, but there are questions as to the true extent of his crimes. • Margaret Rudin (Ad-free)

    Jan 4 2021
Margaret Rudin lived in fifteen different locations before she graduated high school. She married young and had children. By the 1980s, she was living in Las Vegas when she met and married Ron Rudin. It was the fifth marriage for both Ron and Margaret. But it was a rocky marriage filled with deceit and infidelity. Ron Rudin vanished just before Christmas in 1994, and when his body was found in a steamer trunk, the police zeroed in on his wife Margaret. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss "Black Widow" Margaret Rudin. She did a lot of strange things before and after her husband's death. She was definitely on police radar but they couldn't put enough evidence together to charge her. That changed when a diver found the murder weapon in a lake near Las Vegas. But, Margaret wasn't going to go quietly, she ran. It took authorities two years, and the help of America's Most Wanted, to track Margaret down. Even after her conviction, and recent release from prison, questions remain about what really happened to Ron Rudin and just exactly who was involved. Pretty horrible

Terrible narration and too much speculation, not enough facts. How hard is it to check into stuff you are podcasting about??

Not What I Thought

I thought it would be a one-person told story not a discussion type by two guys back and forth to each other atmosphere.

I want to like it buuuuuuut...

I love the content, writing and Gibby. Mike Ferguson's voice absolutely ruins this show for me. He comes across very condescending to his co host and it gets old. Would NOT want to have a co host like him.

Don't listen to the negativity

These guys are great. The banter really helps to ease the tension of the subject matter. They do a great job being sympathetic to the victims and they do a great job of telling the stories. Good stuff!

I refresh every week waiting for the latest episod

One of my favorite podcasts. I'm not the type to like banter, yet these hosts have a relaxing effect on me despite the gruesome subjects. I love the lesser known cases especially.

True crime the way it should be

Mike and Gibby research and discuss these cases while maintaining ultimate respect for victims and family members, I also appreciate the lack of political views. Thank you for all the hard work, heck I even bought a Kabar!
