A good novella, worth a listen

I enjoyed this little book. I knew it would be short but it did feel like the listener/reader got cut off rather abruptly at the end. I would have liked to hear a little more about the development of the relationship since most of the book was Ronnie fighting Jared while knowing she had feelings for him. The performance was very good and the storyline was interesting. For what this was supposed to be, it fulfilled its' purpose. Just know that it's like a snippet of a story, not a fill length novel.

Favorite Audiobook of the Series

I truly enjoy this Dark Protector series. I have listened to all of them. However this is my favorite. It hits all the right notes. The story is an excellent continuation of the Reese brothers story. It is funny and action packed. Karen White excelled in her narration performance. This is a book that I will gladly listen to more than once. Two thumbs 👍👍 up.

Narration is difficult to bear.

What a shame the narrator does such a disservice to the story. There is nothing about the narration that is positive. The story is good but I found it hard to focus on that voice.

This book is explosion of sex and suspense!! I would recommend this book!!! Enjoy reading.

Fun family adventure.

This is the second book in the Reese series. It starts right after Teased ends. Ronnie and Jared are wonderful together. Personalities complement each other perfectly. I’m not a huge fan Ginny so I’m not sure how I will feel about her in the next book. However this is a great addition to the Dark Protector series.

Love this story!!

This is my second time reading (listening this time) to this story and I still absolutely adore it! I love the interaction between Jared and Veronica! They are definitely a perfect match. If you haven't read this story you are missing out!! Phenomenal story and series!!
