Treasure Cove Cozy Mystery Set

Once again Serina and David Carlson are drawn into three cases. All 3 desk with murder. As if this the suspects are plentiful. They have to sort through each suspect to reach the murder but Coors are scarce and Lord keep building. Meanwhile their daughter is developing a relationship with a young man she met in her apartment complex. Occasionally their lives seen to entertwine within cases when their respective career choices interfer.
Stephanie Quinn is a remarkable narrator who brings each character to life.

Such a fun listen!

There is something about a cozy mystery that just relaxes me. This series is so much fun with all the episodes including quirky characters that we have gotten to know and love. Happy Hour Murder has Larry is dead this time, and the two are out interviewing plausible suspects. We get some interaction with Jessica, who is now a rookie on the police force as well as meet her private detective boyfriend. Through work, love and friend connections, we work through this murder that happened during Happy Hour and get to enjoy another case solved by the Carlsons!

Next we have A Deadly Dessert Disaster! This story has Sabrina waking up with nightmares, only to find that there is a murder once again in Treasure Cove. When Sabrina arrives at the scene with her husband David, they also find their daughter Jessica! And from there our investigation begins. It's a myriad of suspects, all eccentric and pointing fingers in every direction. It's not until Sabrina finds the one piece that leads her to victory and a delicious dessert!

And we finish with Murder and Delicious Halloween Candy. It's so easy to relate to Sabrina! I know I am always looking at the bowl of Halloween candy. But this Halloween led to a murder mystery, and the victim is a former classmate of Jessica! In true Sabrina style, she and David go to see out the murderer and find themselves with numerous suspects and many different stories. With a suicide death that may be avenged, or a disgruntled boyfriend, we are taken through the ringer of interviews, finding the killer and getting to enjoy our candy! Stephanie Quinn continues her fun and frolicky narration of this series. She brings this series to life with consistency and entertainment.

Good mysteries

Both the author Meredith Potts and narrator Stephanie Quinn were new to me and I have no idea why that is. I loved this books from start to finish. A compilation of three stories, all these cozy mysteries kept me riveted from start to finish.

The narrator did a good job and certainly kept me entertained. The intrigue and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat as I listened to this story.

There are many twists, turns and surprises in as we follow the clues and I have to say that I was taken by surprise on a couple of occasions.

Treasure Cove Cozy Mystery Set

The more I listen to the Treasure Cove series, the more I am enjoying them. The characters have started to come alive and the murders are always good. They are wonderful to listen to while doing my hobbies. The narration is good.

Happy Hour Murder
This is another quick, entertaining case that will puzzle both, Sabrina and her husband, David. But that's not the worst, oh, no! The worst is... Jessica has a boyfriend! *laughs*

A Deadly Dessert Disaster
The day began badly for Sabrina, with a feeling of impending disaster. But when that feeling doesn't go away after her friend shares how she had an accident in her car that could have been a lot worse, she tries to fortify herself for what, she is sure, is coming.
And of course, that's murder. A murdered woman in a nice neighbourhood, and to make things worse, when she arrives at the scene she discovers her daughter is there too.
From then on, the chase for the killer begins
And I must say, as much as I really like the mysteries, the main attraction of this series is to follow the characters lives. I mean, we met Sabrina when she was a young, single girl, and now, her daughter is a police officer!

Halloween is here, and, of course, Sabrina and David won't be enjoying the aftermath of the festivities without a murder.
