Publisher's Summary

This guide is written to help you move around Norway with ease and to enable you to enjoy your stay in Norway. We have focused on all the tips you need to get a visa to Norway, getting car hire on arrival at the airport, the meals and places to dine at and the most amazing places to tour and have a breathtaking moment in there.

Traveling isn't just about fun; it is much more. It can be about finding yourself, exploring cultures, meeting people, understanding the traditions, comparing ways of lives, encountering new languages, getting to taste new cuisines and seeing the vast expanses of nature and the creations of man. Life could be called the culmination of all the experience one has in the world. A man becomes mature not just by a number getting higher in the count of the number of years he has lived, but by the things he has done, the acts he has witnessed, the people he has come across, the places he has known and the adventures he has made. All this taken together is what we call experience as a whole. It is a truth that no one would deny that one of the best ways to experience things and live life is to read, and next to it the best way to get the experience of a lifetime is to travel.

There are many places one could travel to, but one of the most interesting places to travel to and the most visited places of all of the world is Europe. The exotic nature of Europe is what has been interesting people for centuries. One of the places in Europe is Norway. Norway is one of three Scandinavian countries and is known for its beautiful and long extending coasts. Surrounded by Finland, Sweden, and Russia, it is known for its beauty and scenery. The fjords in Norway are famous world over and are well admired for their rocky areas. Norway is a large country with a population of just five million and thus sparsely populated.

Waste of a Good Credit

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Perhaps readers of the hardcopy version?

What was most disappointing about Norway Travel Guides and Scandinavia Travel Guides ’s story?

This book might be fine in hardcopy,as clearly the format was designed to be a "look-up by category" type book. Unfortunately, as an audiobook, information was repeated over and over... and over... again in successive chapters. Quite tedious.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kevin Kollins?

All travel guides should use narrators native to the country of interest, to get the place-name pronunciations as correct as possible. This non-native narrator's Norwegian wasn't great, but not too objectionable. But, for some unfathomable reason, this audiobook includes a surprising bonus. A guide to travel in Tokyo. This included a section on speaking Japanese. I speak Japanese. The pronunciation was so poor; I first puzzled on just what was being said, and then, laughed out loud, as I realized what the narrator was attempting to say. Do not use this audiobook to learn these common Japanese phrases. But I must say, it was the most engaging part of this audiobook for me.

Excellent

This book is a just like as a tourist guide which described about many travel tips and hacks, to travel around the world. I got this book in amazon and I also bought this book for me. Because I like to travel in my vacation. I also listen to this book and I think it is a helpful book for tourist. Thanks author to write this type of book.
