A great book on travel and on living life

Full disclosure, I had the pleasure of meeting the author while staying at a hostel during my first ever solo trip into the Costa Rican jungle. In addition to being a great guy, his travel knowledge was a great resource in helping me get the most out of my experience.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. You'll certainly pick up some great travel trips, but I felt the book really shines in the stories and adventures the author takes you through, and the perspective they provide on living life and finding fulfillment in and meaning through experience. He does a great job of taking you along for the ride, and you never quite know where a story is going to go.

And he doesn't shy away from discussing some of the risks of solo travel, especially when inexperience and circumstances come together for the worse ways. And some of these stories will stick with me for a while.

Overall, a great listen with some fantastic travel stories and a good dose of wisdom for living as well.
