Traitor Wolf

De: Leia Stone

Narrado por: Annalyse McCoy

The weapon that hasn’t chosen anyone in a thousand years has chosen me, a Dreg-born girl with no magic.

Forged by the Creator and feared across the realm, the King Killer was never meant for someone like me. But the moment I touch it, the wolves come running, snarling, fighting, and bleeding to claim me.

Only one survives.

A wolf with a traitor’s mark burned into his skin.

And now we’re bonded.

Last night, I was digging through trash in the Elite district when a dying highborn collapsed at my feet. With his final breath, he pressed his trial mark into my chest and gave me his place in a deadly competition I was never meant to enter.

If I win, my entire bloodline, all forty of us, gets magic. The Dregs will rise overnight and the Elites will never forgive it.

My bonded wolf says he doesn’t care about me, that he only wants my blade. But he guards me like I matter, trains me like I have a chance and when they try to kill me, he tears them down like I belong to him.

I didn’t ask for this, but I’m not backing down. Not even for the wolf who could break my heart.

For fans of Red Queen and The Serpent and The Wings of Night.

Fantastic

Another great series by Leia Stone!
I have loved every series by Leia I have read.
The characters are unique. The story is so good! I can’t wait to start the second book.
The narrator is perfect

Wish it was a longer book

I loved the narration and the storyline so much. I wish it was longer!!! Can’t wait for the next book.

Fast paced, binge worthy read

Traitor Wolf by Leia Stone is the first book in the Bonded by Fate duology. I can always count on Leia to provide me with an intriguing story packed with action, emotional beats, and slow burn romantic goodness.

I devoured this completely binge able read. Our FMC Brynn is a magic-less human living in a society ruled by a caste system. Her families struggles with poverty and food insecurity were difficult to read. But their love for each other,!sense of community, drive to survive, and overall goodness were inspiring. Brynn is not my favorite FMC that Leia has created, she was a bit annoying at times and read quite young and immature. I kept getting whiplash with the amount of times she changed her mind about our MMC. Even so, it was not enough to take away from my enjoyment of the story.

Kaelric Is my kind of moody, grumpy, do anything for her MMC that I love. Add in bonus points for him being a wolf shifter or wolfkin as they are called in this world. I want to dig into his full backstory and learn all of his secrets.

Overall, Traitor Wolf was an enjoyable read with a world that is easy to get into and characters you can’t help cheering on to win. I can't wait for the next book Savage Crown to release in 2026!!

If you love deadly trials, bonded mates, wolf shifters, forbidden romance, action, high stakes, and a sassy sentient sword then give this book a try. I give Traitor Wolf 4 magical stars.

Good voices
