Elli Inks has never ridden her father’s train. But, now, just before her 10th birthday, Elli is going to take a trip.

But this is no ordinary trip. Joined by the exuberant Mitchkowski Lowery, the duo are magically drawn into the mysterious world of Alascone - a place where lightning storms are good Farnog; Catarats steal socks; and the day only ends when you fall asleep.

Phenomenal adventure

This book is full of adventures, magical creatures, twist and turns that you don’t see coming. The descriptors of the different areas in Alascone make you feel like you are actually there. It’s a fantastic story for young and old alike. Hoping there will be a book 2. But if not, this book can stand on its own.
