I love this story and I'm glad it brought a strong closing to all the characters.

the voice of Cody was much better than the one in Tricks. fit the character better.

I just wished it was the same voice actors as the first book!! I still loved it.

I don't have a huge review for this, as I mentioned most of the stuff in my review for "Tricks", but I thought it was a good book. I like hearing the perspectives of the side characters. It was very sweet and I found myself rooting for all of the characters to succeed in the improvement in their life.

Excellent book of HOPE!

This was a wonderful book, of course it was the 2nd book in a 2-book set, the 1st book being "Tricks"
The way it literally began exactly where Tricks ended. The stories of the 5 "main" people these books have followed (so to speak) has been amazing, sad at times. However the hope each character brings is such a great lesson to take away from such horrible experiences. This book series most definitely shares the most real & raw things that literally happen each and every day. To show that with all of the horrible ways people, especially young people, can "fall into" or "be forced" into ways of life that are almost hard to believe. In this book I was thrilled with the way each and every one of the 5 main characters. Found that their is help & hope out there. That through all of the ugly in this world. There is beauty and HOPE!

Simplistic, but good YA fiction.

I enjoyed this book, along with her others. The story concluded a little neatly, but it was interesting. Recommend.

Sad ride, happy ending

What did you like best about this story?

The characters were very diverse and well defined. The story took me through a wide array of feelings which any book worth it's salt should do. I enjoyed this read and would recommend to anyone

What three words best describe the narrators’s performance?

All the narrators (and it is a treat to have different one's for each character) were really good. Rebekka Ross's use of 'een' instead of 'ing' as always was cringe worthy. It's like having Penny from The Big Bang Theory reading to me - yuck! Com-een & Go-een-puts my teeth on edge. The character of Cody would have been more endearing if he'd had a different voice, the guy reading his part would have been better suited to Seth in my opinion.

Great continuance left me wanting more

This was a great follow up to Tricks and the ending left a wide opening for a third which I only hope will keep up the great work
