I laughed, I cried…… I couldn’t stop listening!!
I love this story! What is not to love when Darby and Jean-Michel are involved. They fight and love fiercely with such an intensity that I lose track of real life. This is enabled by JT Farrell’s ability to perfectly embody Darby’s pirate in Jean-Michel. His voice just takes you away and let you feel like you are living the story.
Naturally, it seems that some of the power is innate in the next generation and we catch a glimpse in Jean-Edouard and Brianna. Despite being quiet and reserved on the outside, their inner strength will be a force to be reckoned with. Incredible start to a new series abs I can’t wait for more!

Darby and Jean-Michel
Evil has not died but is alive and well. At the celebration of Jean-Michel and Darby's anniversary, the women are sent to the spa so the men could meet and discuss how to catch someone they thought was dead. I love what happened a year after Jean-Michel was killed. It was nice that characters from previous books made an appearance. This was a sneak peak of the next generation, now fully grown. As always, JT Farrell did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
