A Michigan woman was blind and now she can see, after being touched by a young man who calls himself Juvenal. A Most Peculiar Elmore Leonard Novel

I've read and listened to many Elmore Leonard books, including a number of his Westerns, and this is far and away the strangest. Something of a philosophical exploration with a bizarre cast of characters, including a faith healer, a former faith healer, his former baton twirled, and a Roman Catholic Latin Mass renegade, who don't quite mesh together. A must-read only if, like me, you're a Leonard completing. Nicely read for George Guidall.
