Publisher's summary

He wants to rescue her. She wants to escape him.

Kennedy Lowe was the girl that got away. So when she turns up broken and bruised, I‘m determined to fix things and finally claim the girl I’ve always loved. I’ll tease her. Tempt her. In the end, I’ll make her mine.

Conner Jagger was the boy I always wanted. But we’re not the same people anymore, and I don’t know if I can trust him with my heart. He’s unrelenting.

Overprotective. In the end, he‘ll wear me down.

She might be the broken girl from the Heights, and I might be the guy with the world at his feet, but when someone hurts the people I love...I won’t rest until they pay.

Torment Her is is book five of the Rebels at Sterling Prep, a possessive, immoral, dark high school bully-romance series.

Favorite Jagger Brother

Conner still reigns as my favorite Jagger brother. He was the sweet, funny one before, but now we see a darker side to him and it only adds to his awesomeness. Kennedy is an interesting character. She has this tough, street-smart side. Yet she is full of insecurities. And I get that her past has messed with her head, but I couldn’t help but find her annoying at times. She always believed the worst in everyone and in herself. Her and Conner are on again and off again, much like Cole and Hadley were. It’s frustrating. The story is immensely entertaining. I was surprised by the cliffhanger. I’d been expecting Warren to show up at any moment, so I’m curious how that will play out in the next book.

The story could have been better

I can't stop compare this story with its previous books. If Remi and Ace Story (book1, book 2) was rated 9 out of 10 and Cole and Hadley Story (book 3 , book 4) was rated 10 out of 10, then this book (Connor and Kennedy boo 5) is only 8 out of 10.

I don't know how to explain it, but Cole and Hadley story was more complex. the characters were more involved in each other business and more mystery to solve. Conner and Kennedy story although very deeply touching and meaningful and sad, however their story feels streamlined by dealing with one big problem at the time.

In contrast, Cole and Hadley story was much more complex. Each of them was dealing with several complex problems simultaneously while trying to figure out their relationship.

Connor and Kennedy are becoming my favorite couple.

This is Connor and Kennedy’s (Kenny) book. Kennedy has been through so much and is still so strong. Connor also has had a rough life, but he is like the sunshine on a rainy day. I was so excited for Connor’s story and part 1 didn’t disappoint. This first book is full of emotion, intense, and suspenseful. I think these two are becoming my favorite and I can’t wait to see how their story ends.

Listen to the “whiny” reviews NOT!

Whomever is saying “she’s too whiny” has obviously never gone through what she has gone through, nor do they have any empathy. This book was brilliant- as were all the books in this series, thus far. Five+ stars from me!!

I loved the other books but……

I LOVED the other 4 books I was also so excited for Connor’s story but I’m disappointed. It was too slow I was waiting for the story to pick up the other 4 books were great from the beginning. I have the final book left book #6 but I will hold off it didn’t pull me in as the other 4 did.

Can’t even finish

I’ve loved all the other books before this one. Kenny is obnoxious and whiny. I literally had to stop half way through. It was too much of the same back and forth. Disappointed

Series great until this one

The female was whiny. The story was slow and now need a second book to know the end. All the others were great but this was not as good. Not sure it’s worth a credit but now I have to use another just to hear the end.

Shockingly sub-par…

I’ve never understood how readers get so passionate about their dislike of a character that they write paragraphs of criticism.

Until now…

I can barely tolerate Kenny. She’s so awful and obnoxious it makes me want to quit the series.

But I want to know the truth about James and learn where Warren is hiding.
