Great affirmations, unusual narrator.

The affirmations in this Audiobook were good ones however it takes almost half the book for the speaker to get thru instructions and random thoughts before getting to the actual affirmations (short, distinct, positive thoughts). The narrator has an unusual voice, older male, slightly raspy, kind of "booming", not what I expected, for a "calming voice". Please listen to the sample first to see if this voice will work for you.

Not bad….

Not bad, I think I had something different in mind. There seemed to be a lot of talking about what affirmations are. Just wish there were more affirmations, if that makes sense.

The message is great !

Unfortunately my ears didn’t enjoy Ted’s voice NO OFFENCE TO TED! I normally have to adjust to the narrators voice in the beginning to see if I can understand and enjoy the message.

good way to start the day, but coffee???

good, simple. the affirmation section is long enough but not too long.
WHY INCLUDE COFFEE IN AN AFFIRMATION?!? It's very jarring to my focus to have "cup of coffee" as part of one of the affirmations. Not everyone drinks coffee and it is a weird thing to have as part of an affirmation. I thought the coffee thing was no big deal at first, but the more often that I listen the more it bugs me.

It’ll do.

Is enjoy listening to affirmations in the morning to set my intentions for the day and this one has some great ones. The voice isn’t particularly soothing and I find myself distracted at times because of the scratchy quality to his voice. It also sounds slightly strained at time. If you’re looking for just affirmations and it makes no difference what the voice sounds like, this will do. I will be searching for a replacement that is more peaceful for me to listen and follow along to.

Simple and Meaningful

This is a simple book that explains what affirmations is and how to manifest them. Then it provides many morning affirmations. I’ll definitely read over and over and over again.

chapter 2 has the affirmations.

chapter one is good inspiration using other well-known celebrities as examples. chapter 2 has the affirmations. I have found listening to chapter 2 on a regular basis very helpful.

This is so bad it is not even funny

Review👎 Narrator sounds like an raspy , old man , with vibrating dentures and extra dose of morning Xanax
👎only 10 min. of actual affirmations , the rest is introduction
👎affirmations sound like written by an amateur.
Glad that I got this book as a freebie. I am deleting it , never to be listened again. Don’t waste your time downloading it . You will be disappointed .
