What does it take to see the truth? For us to save ourselves, even if it sets fire to everything we’ve ever known. To become brave enough, sick enough, and tired enough to let go. To stop fighting the battles that were never even ours to fight. To hand back responsibility for the lives we’ve been saving at the expense of our own. To let go and begin to heal. To love what we never thought possible, and become the person our childhood selves knew us to be all along. To let light pour into the darkest corners, we may have to break down a lot of walls, but our eyes begin to adjust, and we finally see the way out. We stop awaiting our execution, and save our own lives.

You start out rooting for her at the very beginning until the very end when she flips the switch and makes you realize you’ve been rooting for yourself the whole time. Superb writing and narration.

Yes! All the feels!

This book hits every level! Rebecca’s voice is fantastic to listen to and her story is so powerful! I have listened to this twice and found something new each time. I don’t care what you believe in as far as God goes, if you at all have ever been called too sensitive, too this too that, for whatever reason that may be. This book is for you!

From the first sentence until the very last sentence I was savoring every word. There were many times that I was laughing and crying at the same time. Nodding my head saying YES! I have felt this way too! Dr Garifo is simply amazing! I stumbled across Empath Alchemy podcast over a year ago. From the very first podcast I knew I had found someone that I resonated with deeply on many levels. I never miss a podcast. I always look forward to the topic of the week. The podcasts speak to my soul. <3 Here too I am often shaking my head, YES! YES! I have felt this way so many times. It is comforting to know that you are not the only one. I’m not sure how this can feel so different and so eerily similar all at the same time. It’s an amazing book, told very well.
