Publisher's summary

Jenn Corbin appeared to have it all: two dear little boys, a posh home in one of the upscale suburbs of Atlanta, expensive cars, a plush houseboat, and a husband, Dr. Bart Corbin, a successful dentist, who was tall, handsome, and brilliant.

But gradually, their seemingly idyllic life together began to crumble. Bart was distraught and Jenn seemed disenchanted. Then, just a few weeks before Christmas 2004, Jenn was found dead with a bullet in her head, an apparent suicide. But Gwinnett County detective Marcus Head was not totally convinced, nor was Jenn's family, who could not believe she would take her own life. Was this death related to another apparent suicide 14 years earlier, of a beautiful dental student who once dated Bart Corbin in dental school? Or was the answer to be found in a secret, even dangerous, relationship Jenn Corbin was having outside her marriage?

For Too Late to Say Goodbye, Ann Rule has interviewed virtually everyone in any way related to the story to uncover the truth behind the headlines of these two sensational deaths. What emerges is an incredible tale of jealous rage that runs from the steamy to the macabre. The definitive unraveling of one of the strangest murder investigations of our time, Too Late to Say Goodbye is perhaps the finest achievement of a truly great writer's career.

Hard To Put The Book Down...

Ann Rule did a great job keeping my interest! The book was well written and well narrated. There was a wealth of information about the case, and Ann's ability to tell a great story was evident. The book elicited empathy and kept me wanting more. Great job!

Ann's usual fare

Ann Rule is not so much a good writer as she is a very good story teller.
Her books are always interesting, well paced and very factual. I've read a number of her stories and I've always liked them...this was no exception.
It certainly can't rank up there with a great mystery or crime novel, but, it will definately hold your interest.

Another Murder Story

I am sad to say that though this book was good, it was just another man murdering his wife rather than get a divorce. It held my interest, but I cannot say I was at the edge of my seat. Good book when walking my dog.
