Wow.

Tessa Bailey does it again! This book was hot! The character development, the story? Everything I needed.

Great ending

I barely made it through this book so at least the ending was resolved and good. With so many emotional issues and drama something good needed to come of it all. Not just the female lead and her family but the male lead. Argh! It was hard to keep track of who had what problem and with so many pertinent characters the narrator was doing her best to differentiate between them.

Another amazing one!

So good and So juicy. Definitely recommend if you’re into spicy novels! A page turner for sure

HOT!

The writing is absolute fire. The narration is pretty good. It feels like (in some places) the narrator is stilted, like she didn’t look ahead and see the sentences weren’t finished. Otherwise, excellence.

I couldn’t do it

I only got a few chapters in. The narration was sloppy. The story seems a bit chaotic, will download on kindle to read later.

Funny and Swoony

Too Hot To Handle is the first book in The Romancing The Clarksons Series and I'm completely in love with these Clarksons!!!

After their family restaurant burns down, Rita talks her siblings into a road trip to New York City to fulfill a dream of their Mom's.
Car breaks down, fate steps in.

"If you made me any hotter, Rita, you'd singe off my damn eyebrows. I'd have to draw them on with a sharpie or something. Not even Rosemary would be seen with me in public."

I fell in love with these characters, this story, the awesome dirty talk and the amazing narration. I was constantly bookmarking audio clips and going back to re-listen.

Jasper Ellis is the right amount of bad boy with a pinch of sexy and just a dash of fantasy… definitely don’t regret using a credit on this book.

Ruined by narrator

I liked the story, it wasn't amazing, but engaging. But the narrator was hard to follow, the cadence was weird and common words she mispronounced and it was jarring. One notable. Ascertain pronounced ass-certain (rhyme with curtain). I had to back the narration back to figure out what it was.

Could stop listening!

Really good book! Keeps you on your toes towards the end and allows you to imagine as if you were there.

I rarely regret a purchase to this degree. it was the opposite of all I enjoy in a book. we all have different tastes. I bought it in the 2 for one sale and may not be able to return for a replacement. I also had my most difficult time in choosing 2 books that appealed in this limited sale. The choices were sparse. Again a first. I can only say this is a rarity for me. There was nothing in this book that I enjoyed. The other book I chose was fun. "Too hot to handle" has a different meaning for me. The title of the book "Too hot to handle?"suffice it to say yes. I felt burned but not in a good way.
