Old book - new release

I wish I'd checked the original published date. Bought in a hurry. It wouldn't be a bad "read" if it was less than $5.00, but definitely not worth a credit. Sandra Brown has certainly improved over the years, but this just doesn't compare to Ricochet, Smash Cut, The Alibi, and Envy! Then again, it was interesting to see how far we (men and women) have come or changed in our communication and relationships.

This Book Is Dated BUT It Is Timeless Conudrum

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Perhaps written in more general terms so that it is not stagnant. It is very specifically written as a contemporary time frame (it may have been when first released)-which is late 1970's or early 1980's about missing in action soldiers from the Vietnam war. The story IS contemporary.

This IS a scenario that can happen in any war time - real or imaginary, so a fictional war in more generic terms may have attracted a wider audience.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tomorrow's Promise?

No spoilers; but the ending is heart wrenching and most memorable.

What does Renee Raudman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I adore Renee Raudmen-she is a fantastic narrator who gives each character their own voice-male or female.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

More and descriptive romance is ALWAYS better, but I think it was pretty good-as is.

Any additional comments?

I found this book REALLY thought provoking. It really put my mind to work and found myself wondering, "What would I do?" and "How long does one hold out hope for the return of a spouse MIA?" and "When or is it acceptable to 'move on' with life?"

Good Love Story

Liked this story more of a love story vs. mystery.

I have enjoyed other books by this author, but this one seems tired, repetitive, and light on plot. Its rare I don't finish a book, but just couldn't get through this one. Returned it

Lovely feel good story

Enjoyed the characters and the story. I almost stopped 15 minutes in because the southern male voice was hard on the ears, but I kept with it and glad I did. 7/10.

An annoying boring dragged out read

as an avid Sandra Brown fan, I was surprised by how boring and annoying as well as unrealistic this book was. It had a fair plot, but the way it was written was disappointing. I had to force myself to finish it . it was too slow or silly at times.

Interesting premise of a moral dilemma

Interesting premise about the wife of a missing in action soldier and her moral dilemma of remaining faithful to the husband who may have died 11 years ago or the man she is now falling in love with.

TOMORROW PROMISE

Guess I missed this book. I saw on the list of her books & realized this was one of her early ones & just had to go back & listen. Glad I did because it was a good one.

do not like the reader at all! couldn't get out of chapter one! terrible because I love Sandra Brown. not a good first experience with audible!

Extremely disappointed in Sandra Brown. Sappy love story. poor plot. bad reader. bad loce scenes. Pure waste of time but I paid gor it so I listened.
