Story
From a leading pediatric sleep physician comes a revolutionary program that will have everyone in the house sleeping through the night. When Dr. Craig Canapari became a father, he realized that all his years of 36-hour hospital shifts didn't even come close to preparing him for the sleep deprivation that comes with parenthood. The difference is that parents don’t get a break - it’s hard to know if there’s a night of uninterrupted sleep anywhere in the foreseeable future. Sleepless nights for kids mean sleepless nights for the rest of the family....

Forget Starbucks - there's an entire world of coffee waiting to be discovered. Around two billion cups of coffee are consumed across the world every day. Second only to crude oil, it’s the world’s largest traded commodity. The origin of coffee is shrouded in legend, and no one knows for sure exactly how it was discovered (although its discovery is largely attributed to a herd of energetic Ethiopian goats in AD 850). It’s little wonder, then, that coffee is so steeped in culture, with a rich history and a complex social and cultural narrative.

Publisher's Summary
If you want to discover how to teach your child to sleep well at night with proven step-by-step strategies, keep reading:
Did you know:
In a National Sleep Foundation poll, more than two out of every three children ages ten and below have gone through some form of sleep issue.
It has been established that more than 25 percent of toddlers who develop unhealthy sleeping patterns keep repeating irregular sleep behaviors over time.
For every child, a regular and sound sleeping cycle is of the utmost importance. For babies to grow into mature, composed adults, they need adequate care through nutrition, physical movement, and a sufficient quality sleep schedule. While many parents easily take care of the former two factors, an irregular sleep cycle is something that most parents struggle to handle and overcome.
In this audiobook, Toddler Sleep Training: Step-by-Step Parenting Strategies to Solve Your Child's Bedtime Problems for a Good Night's Sleep, you will discover:
- Proven bedtime strategies to help your child get a good night's sleep
- Three critical steps to ensure your child's bedtime prep phase becomes a success
- Four ways to establish an effective and safe sleep environment
- Five techniques for a productive nap time routine
- Self-care tips for parents to help them manage stress resulting from toddler sleep training
- The common mistakes to avoid to prevent needless frustration
- A Bonus section on an important aspect of a toddler's sleep regimen that parents must approach with careful consideration
- And much, much more!
This guide will hold your hand every step of the way to help you transform from a parent struggling to train your child to sleep into someone who possesses the knowledge and tools that would result in nights of restful sleep for both kids and parents.

Mostly useless, some nuggets of good info
There is so much intro to this short book. If I’m reading this book, I probably know sleep is important and I probably already think that lack of sleep causes problems. The crying and soothing technique section was good, but everything else has been uninspiring.
I do a bedtime routine every night and am still having a hard time getting my child to calm, go to sleep, and stay asleep in their own room. As a frustrated, tired parent, I don’t want to listen to hours of how bad lack of sleep is for my child, I bought this audio book to learn how to get my child to sleep better.

So many books focus on getting a baby to sleep. But honestly, getting a toddler to sleep is so much harder. I love how this book gave me practical strategies to get my little girl napping and also sleeping throughout the night. The narrator has a great voice and it was a joy to listen to. If you are having trouble getting your toddler to sleep or going through a sleep regression, this is your book.

Well slept toddler = Well slept parent
Sleep training can be one of the most difficult tasks for new parents. Sleep training initially requires parents to give up on their sleep; thus, the accumulation of fatigue and daily tasks can feel overwhelming. What I like about this sleep training book is that the author not only guide you on how to establish sleep routine but also provides the solution in a way that train both the parents and children. For examples, parents have to learn to regulate our own emotions before trying to calm their child and help them have a restful sleep. The book also covers information on issues that may affect sleep, such as bedwetting, sleep walking, acid reflux etc., which is quite informative. Overall, this is well-written and useful for parents with toddler.

Better sleep for your Toddler.... AND YOU!
It's 2 am and you work in 6 hours.... but you haven't had a wink of sleep because your toddler is up crying all night.
It can be frustrating and exhausting dealing with this reality in raising children. But by developing a deliberate sleep training plan, this stage of your parenting, can be much easier.
With the advice from this book, your toddler (AND YOU!) can start sleeping better each night and develop an intentional routine that will help with his or her overall development.
If sleep is so important to us as adults, why would we skimp on this essential component for our kids' development? Understanding the power of sleep is essential to healthy living. This book is a great way to set the tone early on in your child's life.

Very basic
This is an intro to how to do bedtime (and parenting). Some of the tips include giving your child lots of exercise, no screens or sugar before bedtime, creating a consistent bedtime routine. If you know the basics, are already doing them, and are still having trouble, you will need to look elsewhere. There is a lot of time spent on medical conditions like asthma, reflux, sleep apnea, ear infections. This is not a book about sleep training but about how to generally care for a toddler as it relates to sleep.

Peaceful sleep
This audiobook is a great guide for any parent whose kids struggle with getting healthy sleep, or if it takes them ages to fall asleep. My kids would literally take like 2 hours, and I was getting super worried (and exhausted)! This book has helped a lot with figuring out some specific steps that fit into our daily schedule and work.
I especially liked the 3 prep steps, as that's definitely something we didn't tend to prioritize! BUT prep really is crucial, especially if your household tends to be a bit chaotic (like ours!) Overall a great audiobook, provided a lot of background together with the advice, and the kids are finally starting to take to our new night routine. I'd say it's a success.

Great advice, especially for new parents
When a new baby comes home, it is a little bit of a baptism of fire. There are so many things to consider and think about. New parents tend to think about the bigger things, scared they will get some things wrong, and think much less about the smaller things. Yet, it is these smaller things that make the difference. The bigger things come automatically.
This book concentrates on the little things which go towards creating a good, sustainable and healthy night routine for your toddler. This book, if you follow its advice will be of great benefit to you and end your sleepless nights much sooner.
