Nice easy listening

Short and sweet and gives a plan for the top 3 toddler issues. Worked well with our granddaughter. Took a little over 2 weeks to settle 2 of the 3 down still working on throwing things but it is better 😀

Helpful book indeed :)

This book helps change your thinking about how kids think and recaps you that they do not have the high operative brain of an adult yet. And the whole idea that they do not comprehend the word no... Mind-blowing! It will definitely change how I think about the behavior of toddlers in general.

Different book

The section about the Little Adult Assumption was particularly helpful for us. We still go back to this book for help and to refresh our skills. I have and still do highly recommend this to anyone struggling to discipline your child.

Deal with your kids

Best book for learning how to deal with your toddler. I have recommended this to so many people. It definitely takes retraining on the adults part but the strategies are very effective on my 20 month old.

Great work done by author

I like the idea of positive discipline and being kind but firm, the book is easy to read and quite informative, and while it's full of examples I felt I need more real life situations, with what to expect in terms of then children's possible reactions to being "kind but firm", possible escalation. My child is only 14 months so I haven't experience tantrums and stubbornness yet but I think the book portrays positive discipline as an easily implementable miracle solution !
